Leveling Herbalism in WoW Forever

Choose plants for your skill, gather herbs for recipes and prepare the new gardening features.

Your profession in Forever

FOREVER / SKILL GUIDE

Herbalism grows by gathering suitable plants. Forever adds gardening: Incense Candle, Greenhouse and Seed Hybridizer are your own campsite projects.

Build skill step by step

1–75

Begin with early herbs

Gather Peacebloom and Silverleaf. Earthroot requires 15, Mageroyal 50 and Briarthorn 70. Return to a trainer when you reach your available rank limit.

75–150

Expand your gathering options

Add Stranglekelp at 85 and Bruiseweed at 100. Wild Steelbloom at 115, Grave Moss at 120 and Kingsblood at 125 open more material options. Use plants that are not yet gray for skill gains.

150–225

Gather for specific recipes

Liferoot at 150, Fadeleaf at 160, Goldthorn at 170 and Khadgar’s Whisker at 185 provide a sequence of new gathering targets. Connect your route to the ingredients of a learned recipe.

225–300

Plan advanced supplies

Check further plants’ requirements on the node itself. Reserve Arthas’ Tears and Purple Lotus for a Greenhouse, and Mountain Silversage for a Seed Hybridizer once you obtain the blueprints. Specific seed-to-yield lists are not established yet.

  1. Check trainer and rank: learn the profession and the next available rank. Your Professions window, K, shows what your character actually knows.
  2. Set a small skill target: choose a learned orange or yellow recipe you need yourself or can use as an intermediate. Green is less reliable; gray recipes grant no skill points.
  3. Craft in small batches: after each batch, check recipe color, supplies and your next useful alternative.
  4. Buy new recipes with a purpose: check acquisition, learning requirements and materials first. Spending Merchant’s Favor on a recipe does not supply its ingredients.

Stages are editorial work plans. They do not establish a guaranteed 1–300 shopping list: recipe colors, learned recipes and random skill gains determine your actual quantities.

Materials and sources

The table gives actual node requirements from object data, not recommended switching points. A plant does not automatically become the best leveling target at that exact skill. Location reports remain incomplete, so links lead to individual nodes rather than invented farming routes.

Node requirements from Forever data; not a complete world atlas.

Example: three Incense Candles need three Peacebloom and three Silverleaf. Gather both along your quest route, and check whether your group needs the Intellect buff.
