Your profession in Forever
Enchanting connects disenchanting, tools and permanent upgrades. Forever adds Motes of Magic, crafted items and necklace enchants. Plan tools separately from consumed materials.
Build skill step by step
Tools and early enchants
Prepare a Runed Copper Rod. Dust to Motes and the practice wand show new supply paths. Choose a learned recipe of suitable color for skill gains.
Plan dust consumption
Compare bracer enchants and learned oils by recipe color. Budget dust from actual loot or trade; disenchanting yields can vary.
Next rod and new formulas
Check your next required tool rod in K. The current Runed Truesilver Rod needs a Truesilver Rod, a Black Pearl, a Greater Mystic Essence and Vision Dust.
A necklace enchant as your target
Obtain the formula and external Alchemy dyes. Add learned non-gray enchants for the final points; one new formula does not establish a complete route.
- Check trainer and rank: learn the profession and the next available rank. Your Professions window, K, shows what your character actually knows.
- Set a small skill target: choose a learned orange or yellow recipe you need yourself or can use as an intermediate. Green is less reliable; gray recipes grant no skill points.
- Craft in small batches: after each batch, check recipe color, supplies and your next useful alternative.
- Buy new recipes with a purpose: check acquisition, learning requirements and materials first. Spending Merchant’s Favor on a recipe does not supply its ingredients.
Stages are editorial work plans. They do not establish a guaranteed 1–300 shopping list: recipe colors, learned recipes and random skill gains determine your actual quantities.
Materials and sources
Obtain dust, essences and shards by disenchanting suitable equipment or trading. Do not assume fixed yields. The Mote of Magic tooltip also names enchanting vendors. Metal rods come from Blacksmithing or trade; new dyes from Alchemy.

These projects show exact ingredients per crafting batch. Change the batch count to scale the materials. One craft does not automatically grant one skill point.
