Playing together

Start together. Keep adventuring together.

A small group plan that turns “let’s play together” into adventures you actually share.

Shared expectations, not identical schedules

A regular group rarely needs a perfect plan. More often, players simply want different things: one reads every quest while another wants to move quickly. Before the first evening, talk about what each of you enjoys. This article offers planning advice rather than a description of fixed Forever game rules.

Agree on shared time

Choose a realistic time slot. One reliable evening a week can be more useful than expecting everyone to play every day. Agree on what happens when someone is late and when the group will wait.

Decide what to play alone

Someone with more free time should be able to enjoy it without accidentally pulling the group apart. Discuss whether shared characters are for group sessions only or whether different rates of progress are fine. That is a group agreement, not a technical restriction imposed by the game.

One message can be your whole plan

  • Our regular evening: …
  • Our meeting point and communication channel: …
  • Our pace: relaxed, mixed or goal-focused.
  • What we do when someone is away: …
  • Our next small goal: …

Copy this list into your group chat and fill it in together. Adjust it after your first sessions. The plan should give you more time together, rather than turn into another to-do list.
